Communication Style Based on Character (CSBC)

CSBC:   SOLD

In fact, every person carries a varied physical and psychological identity since birth. No one is absolutely identical to another person, including twins. This provides a picture and signal that the generalization of a person's type and style in acting is wrong. In relation to this writing, the author wants to describe how the type and style of each person in communicating is also very diverse.

In psychology, it turns out that each person will behave exclusively and individually. This means that each person will behave differently according to the personality that is built and formed throughout their life journey. There are at least four personalities that were successfully identified by Hippocrates and then perfected by Galen in the fourth century BC, namely: Sanguine, Melancholic, Choleric and Phlegmatic.

1. A sanguine person

This was reflected in the lively and warm discussions that took place.

People with this type are very fond of talking and like things that are macro, futuristic and friendship. Do not be surprised, if this type likes to avoid details and calculations of profit and loss. For them, the warmth of friendship in jokes is the achiever of future asset dreams. If communicating with them, prepare global material, jokes and laughter accompanied by warmth.

2. A melancholic

As if it were the opposite of a sanguine.

He tends to be quiet, analytical, micro-thinking, historical and rigid. For him, life is a series of facts and data that should be presented systematically and systematically. He does not spout words and spread sentences like a true sanguine. When dealing with them, prepare sufficient data and facts so that their demands for comprehensive information can be met.

3. Choleric people

Another one. This person is firm, systemic and systematic.

Topics related to planning, structure and the future will be his main favorite menu. He likes firmness and high discipline from the people around him. He is willing to live alone as long as the principles of life are realized. When dealing with such people, it is better to prepare a good systematic speech (beginning, middle, end). Firmness and straightforwardness should be the main considerations.

4. Phlegmatic people

This is an example of a 'truly indifferent' person that we can meet in everyday life.

He is indifferent but calm and peaceful. A bit slow. When communicating he tends to look for a 'middle' (peaceful) way. He doesn't like confrontation. He prioritizes the principle of living in good friendship. He will always come to be a peacemaker in an argument. Dealing with phlegmatic people requires patience and deeper understanding compared to the other three types. Provide time span and a wide heart to deal with it. If you make a promise, bind him with repetitive affirmations so that he remembers and is ready to carry it out.

Enjoy studying human personality carefully so that our communication style will be adaptive, constructive and effective.
