Crystal or commonly written X-tal, is a component that is flat and has two connecting legs. Its function is to generate frequencies with stable (fixed) numbers.
Getting to Know the X-TAL Components (Crystals)
This crystal is widely used in electronic equipment, such as: radio transmitters, transceivers, walky talkies, citizen band radios, 80 meter bands, and 2 band radios. The crystals that we often find on the market have a frequency of around 27, 125 MHz.
