A number of organizations have compiled databases that cover thousands of common problems with VCRs, TVs, Computer Monitors, and other electronic equipment. They charge a fee to access their information via the Internet. Some are free, or charge a minimum monthly or per-case fee.
A tips or technical support database is a collection of problems and solutions collected by organizations that provide information or other sources based on actual, field facts, experience, and case history. Because identical system failures at some point, even on certain models/products have a large percentage.
In this case, you can simplify the troubleshooting algorithm, or simplify the analysis. There are times when the symptoms and solutions on the forum do not apply to your case. That is why you need to improve and enhance your competence, in order to be successful in the field of troubleshooting.
Manual (old-fashioned) testing is still very necessary today, because it can minimize the risk of unnecessary part replacement.
Another disadvantage is that you don't learn much by simply following a procedure developed by someone else. There is no explanation of how the original diagnosis was determined, or what caused the system to fail in the first place, or the symptoms of a component failure are found in a particular part, so that we can immediately replace it, but there is no guarantee that the solution will still be valid in the future, considering that many old components are no longer produced in the future. The other alternative is usually to use the CANNIBAL method.
A website that collects technical information for consumer electronics (not industrial electronics) is TEKINFO. There are subpages with general categories such as VCD, Monitor, TV, VCR, etc. along with their respective case models. Specific information is currently somewhat limited, but will be a free resource in the future. I will try to provide recommendations for sites that have made a major contribution to the world of Troubleshooting and of course I always include links in the article or in the References section.

- How to Measure Voltage & Current of Power Sources
1. Standby Regulator (Television Standby Mode) There is a "tick-tick" sound & when the TV is turned on, the condition returns to normal
This can happen to a television that uses a voltage doubler circuit in its regulator section, the voltage should only work when the AC input voltage is 110 volts but in this problem, at 220 volts the doubler also works and as a result the DC voltage of 300 volts rises to more than 500 volts. The steps to fix it are as follows:
- Check the DC voltage of 300 volts, does it really increase to more than 500 volts?
- If true, then check the parts in the voltage doubler circuit such as dry elco, short capacitor, or it could also be a leaking zener.
2. There is a creaking noise from the regulator, but the picture remains normal.
This happens because the switching regulator does not receive pulse feedback from the HVT. So the steps to fix it are as follows:
- Check the pulse path on the HVT to the regulator section, there may be a broken part or path.
3. Image is out of focus
The symptom is when the focus control is set but there is still no change (improvement), then follow these repair steps:
- Rotate the VR several times, because it could be that the contact is not good (problem with VR focus).
- CRT socket is damaged (there is a leak with the grounding ring)
- CRT is damaged.
4. There is a flash/spark inside the CRT
This kind of CRT damage cannot be repaired anymore, this damage can be caused by:
- The air intake tube passes through the pins of the CRT which is not perfectly manufactured.
- cracked tube
- There is an electrode that has come loose from its position.
5. How to Make CRT Better?
In principle, if the brightness, contrast and color controls are made sufficiently (don't over / maximum). The following are things to consider in television maintenance:
- TV placement, CRT screen should not be directly facing strong light, such as the hot sun, door / window lighting. because if the screen faces strong lighting, it will result in brightness, contrast and color controls needing to be set to maximum mode, this will force the CRT to work at maximum.
- Don't leave the TV on when it's not being watched. If it has an auto shutoff feature, then use it.
6. Things that can cause spots on the screen (rainbow colors)
- TV position is often rotated
- there was lightning striking near the house,
- there are magnets or equipment containing magnetic fields near the TV
- The TV is placed on a table made of metal.
- The PTC (solder positor) is cracked or the degansing coil has come loose from its connector.
7. How to Remove Spots (Demagnetize) CRT Screens (part 1)
- If the spots are not too severe, you can perform automatic degansing which is available on the TV device.
- turn off the TV with the main switch or unplug the AC lord PTC to cool down first
- Turn the TV back on and see if the spots are still there?
- if still, then try repeating it up to 2 or 3 times.
- If it is not gone, then use steps in section (2).
8. The image display on the monitor has lines
- This is generally caused by damage to the power supply (the ripple is too large)
- Check the ripple voltage on the 300 volt Elco with the CRO, normally the ripple voltage is around 10 vp-p.
- Ripple voltage exceeds 10 vp-p, it could be that the capacity value of the elco has decreased/shrinked, so just replace the elco with a new (good) one,
- If the 300 volt elco value drops too much (dry), it can cause the raster to shrink, there are horizontal lines and the switching transformer will make noise.
- The disturbance can get worse with a creaking sound from the switching transformer.
9. When the TV is turned on, the HOT transistor is immediately damaged
- Do not install the HOT / Horizontal OUT Transistor first, if the HOT is removed then the B+ voltage will not come out,
- check whether the BT voltage is 110 volts normal? if the horizontal transistor is not supplied B+ the voltage will increase.
- check with an oscilloscope, is the HOR frequency correct? can be checked the base or collector part of the drive transistor.
10. Horizontal Frequency Changes
- If this happens, it will cause the HOT transistor to be damaged. If the oscillator uses a resonant RC, check the R value and try replacing the ceramic resonator.
- Check the resonance on HOT. If the value drops, it can damage the transistor.
- check diodes - diodes on the HOT circuit
- (TV big screen) check the driver pin cushion transistor, if the pin cushion transistor is open or loose, it can cause the HOT transistor to be damaged.
Sometimes we hesitate to turn on the television with such a problem, because we are worried that the transistor will be damaged again, to avoid this from happening, please do the following:
- cut printed from HVT to HOT transistor collector
- Install a 500 mAh (14 inch) or 630/800 mAh (20 inch and above) fuse between the two disconnected prints.
- If the fuse is still broken when turned on, it means the television is still having problems, so do the next steps, namely:
- Prepare 5 20 ohm 20 watt resistors.
- install everything in series
- instead of fuse, install the resistor above
- Turn on the television and measure the output voltage from the HVT, for example the measured voltage is 180 volts.
- If the voltage has come out to about half the normal voltage, it means the problem is resolved.
11. HOT Transistors Repeatedly Fail After Some Time of Life
- Check the decoupling filter elco on the horizontal driver supply, it generally has a value of 1 micro farad / 50 volts
- OSC HOR which uses a ceramic resistor count down system may be damaged, so just replace it with a new one.
- OSC HOR that uses RC resonator, the capacitor on the RL OSC may be damaged, just replace it with a new one.
- Check the resonance capacitor value, maybe the value has decreased
- It is also possible that the B+ voltage sometimes increases, or the problem is in the regulator area, running the television while monitoring the B+ voltage with an AVO meter.
12. Hot Transistor Hot
- different or fake replacement transistor
- deflection yoke is broken, just check it, maybe there is a little burn
- There is a short component so that there is excessive current usage on the HVT supply voltages
- If it happens on a black and white TV, a damaged HVT is usually followed by a 12 volt voltage drop and a humming sound is heard on the LS.
13. Black and White TV image collapses (half screen or tilted)
- adjust HOR hold
- check the dual diode phase detector HFL circuit
- check the HVT to AFC pulse circuit, check the part value.
14. Color TV image collapses (half screen or tilted)
- If there is a control hold, then adjust H hold.
- osc system count down, try replacing the 500 kHz ceramic filter
- Check the resistor and capacitor values of the AFC / AFC-1 filter
- OSC IC is damaged, try replacing it
- if the IC uses its internal resonator for its HOR osc.
- replace X-tal 4.43 or series capacitor with the x-tal.
15. Sound Appears From HVT
- This is caused by the OSC frequency changing incorrectly to 15,625 Hz. Don't leave the TV on in this state for too long, because it can damage the HOT.
- If the TV uses RC OSC, then just replace the capacitor.
- If the TV uses count down, replace the ceramic resonator.
- Check the parts on the AFC pins, OSC HOR filter on the IC.
16. Hor is not full (not wide enough / narrow)
- check supply voltage B+
- If you use a B+ boost up circuit, check the elco, then the boost up voltage
- Big screen TV, adjust the cushion pin, if it doesn't work, check the cushion pin circuit.
- check the resonance capacitor on the HOR out amp section. try installing an additional parallel capacitor on the resonance capacitor on the HOR OUT AMP section, try whether it is around 1000pf or if it is not full 2000pf, and so on until it is full
- If the HOR oscillator uses an internal resonator, check or replace the x-tal with a value of 443 and the series capacitor.
- OSC IC is damaged.
17. Non-Linear HOR
- If it can be adjusted, please adjust the linear coil
- check the installation of the linearity coil, maybe it's reversed
- check coil linearity, maybe burnt
- TV big screen check H lin with remote
- Fake HOT Transistor
- Deflection yoke is not original.
18. Edge Raster
- deflection yoke is broken, there is a little damage to the coil
- Big screen TV, check the trapezoid adjustment and check the work of the pin cushion section.
19. There is a vertical black block on the edge of the raster.
- Check the AFC circuit parts.
20. Image Folds in the Middle or There is a Vertical White Line in the Middle of the Raster
- Non-genuine HOT transistor
- Over Drive for HOT transistors, check the HOR drive parts.
21. Symptoms of Deflection Yoke Damage
- The horizontal deflection yoke is passed through a sawtooth current so that the electron beam in the CRT scans horizontally, the resistance of the HOR coil is very small so that damage to the HOR coil cannot be checked with an OhmMeter.
- deflection yoke short, causing the HOR OUT section not to work and the B+ voltage drops, if we suspect damage to the HOR yoke, then try removing the connector, then you will see a part of the coil that is burnt or charred.
- If the deflection yoke is slightly short, it can cause the edges of the raster to tilt.
- Meanwhile, if the deflection yoke is open, it will cause 1 vertical line.
22. How to Replace the Deflection Yoke
- CRT, deflection yoke, and PC magnet are one unit to obtain perfect convergence quality and IMAGE purity and form a resonance circuit with the HOR OUT section, therefore if you replace the deflection yoke, it must match the part number.
23. Effects of Deflection Yoke If It's Not Original
- HVT shrinks and raster narrows, can cause HOT to break down
- normal raster, but the dynamic convergence cannot be adjusted properly so that the image at the edge of the screen does not converge.
- The raster is not full. HOR needs to be adjusted by adding a parallel resonance capacitor to the HOR OUT section (100-2000pf).
24. Raster Only Lights Up 1 Vertical Line in the Middle of the Screen
- check the deflection yoke connector, it may have come loose
- check coil HOR deflection yoke, maybe open
- check the connection from HOR OUT to the deflection yoke
- capacitor S shope open.
25. Types of HVT Damage
- some coils are shorted
- On a color TV, it causes the HOR OUT transistor to heat up and the 12 volt supply voltage to drop, while on a BLACK AND WHITE TV, it will cause the HOR OUT transistor to be damaged.
26. High Voltage Leakage
- causing corona (sparks) to appear, if left untreated, it will damage the HVT.
27. High Voltage HV Drops
- because the rectifier diode in the HVT is damaged, it can cause the raster to "bloom".
28. High Voltage Not Coming Out
- caused by damage to the high voltage rectifier diodes inside the HVT.
29. Focus Voltage Not Coming Out
- caused by the VR driver resistor or rectifier diode inside the HVT being damaged, the image is dark.
30. AFT Open Pulse Coil
- causing the raster to be dark.
31. Summary
- The power supply provides its voltage to all parts of the amplifier.
- The tuner receives the signal from the antenna and amplifies and changes the received frequency into an IF signal (33.4 Mhz and 38.9 Mhz) the sub carrier signal is still carried by the video IF signal.
- The IF amplifier and detector respectively amplify the IF signal and detect the VIDEO signal, the audio IF signal is also generated in this detector, after the 33.4 Mhz and 38.9 Mhz IF are mixed in the video detector.
- The voice IF signal is amplified by the voice IF amplifier and detected by the FM detector.
- The audio amplifier amplifies the audio signal from the FM detector and then the audio signal is converted into sound vibrations by the speaker.
- The AGC circuit regulates the RF and IF video gain, so that the audio signal output remains at a constant amplitude.
- The detected video signal is amplified and fed into the CRT cathode
- some of the video signal is separated from its synchronization pulse
- horizontal sync pulse is given to the HOR OSC via AFC
- The vertical sync pulse triggers the vertical OSC to sync.
- The vertical deflection signal and HOR enter the deflection yoke coil and also the convergence coil.
- The sub carrier signal via the band pass amplifier is taken from the video amplifier.
- After the chroma demodulation process by the chroma circuit, signals (By) and (Ry) are obtained.
- The matrix light bulb produces a signal (Gy) from the signals (By) and (Ry)
- signal y on the CRT cathode and signals (Ry), (Gy) and (By) produce the influence of the electron beam between the cathode and the grid according to signals R, G and B.
32. Raster Only Lights Up 1 Horizontal Line
- cek posisi N-S switch (normal service switch)
- check if the vertical out section is working?
- Check the voltage of the input section of the vertical out amp IC which is connected to the OSC section. If there is no voltage, it is possible that the OSC IC is damaged.
- Check if there is voltage on the vertical out pin of the OSC IC? If not, the vertical out IC is probably damaged.
- check the relationship between the vertical out IC and the OSC IC
- check if there is voltage on the vertical feedback pin? ramp.generator, if not check the DC feedback part.
33. Checking How the Vertical Out IC Section Works (ramp model. generator combined into 1 with the OSC. Vertical section)
- open pin input IC vertical out
- touch-touch with the metal pin-input of the vertical out-amp IC, while observing the raster
- If the white line appears to move up and down, this indicates that the vertical out section as a whole is okay, if the line does not move or moves slightly, it means that the vertical out amp. section is damaged.
34. How to Check the Vertical Out Amp Section. (ramp. generator model combined with Vertical IC)
- open connection between OSC IC and vertical out IC
- observe the raster then touch the input IC vertical out amp.
- The raster should appear (open) momentarily every time the input is touched, if the raster does not appear, it means the vertical out part is not working yet.
35. How to Check the Vertical Out Section (circuit model using I2 BUS technology)
- open both input pins
- If the vertical line is not visible, increase the screen mount adjustment so that the line appears.
- with the ohm meter in position 1x, touch the 2 meter probes on the 2 pins.
- the line should move up and down
- if the line doesn't move at all, then the vertical out part isn't working.
36. Vertical Out Section Not Working
- check supply voltage VCC
- Check the voltage on the vertical IC input pin which is directly connected to the OSC IC. If the voltage is zero, it means the OSC IC is damaged or the DC feedback is intermittent.
- Check the voltage on the pin-out of the vertical IC out that goes to the deflection yoke. The normal voltage is around 1/2 VCC, if the voltage is zero or too high approaching VCC then the IC is likely damaged.
- Check the resistance value of the vertical coil (V def.yoke), the normal value is around 5 ohms, if the value is zero, it means it is short.
- check the connector connection to the deflection yoke
- Check the capacitor/elco couple on the output section, check the connection/solder
- Check the resistor on the output section towards ground. The value of this resistor is around 1 to 2.2 ohms.
- Check the pump up diode, it may be short.
- For IC vertical out gebung with ramp.generator, check the parts related to D1 feedback.
37. How to Check OSC Section Work. Vertical
- If the vertical out section is not working or is damaged, can the OSC section be checked separately with the OSC.
- model 1 (ramp.generator section combined with OSC IC)
- cannot be checked with OSC, because if the vertical out is not working, then the ramp generator does not get DC feedback voltage and the vertical out pin of the OSC IC has zero voltage and does not require a pulse.
- Models (ramp generator section is integrated with IC (vertical out)) can be checked with OSC check vertical out pin, vertical OSC will issue trigger pulses.
- models (which have 2 outputs) can be checked with OSC check on vertical out (1) and vertical out (2) pins, one pin outputs a sawtooth pulse and the other pin also outputs a smaller sawtooth pulse which is in the opposite phase.
38. Vertical Not Full
- cek adjustment V size atau V hight
- Check the value of the Elco couple output on the yoke towards ground, maybe the value has dropped, try installing it in parallel with another Elco with the same value.
- check the resistor value on the output section that is connected to the yoke towards gnd. (around 0.22 to 2.2 ohms)
- Check the VCC vertical out amp supply voltage, it may have dropped because the filter elco is dry.
- check control size 50/60 and its assembly
- check par-part DC feedback
- Check the parts on the ramp generator
- IC or Vertical Amp Transistor is damaged, replace.
39. Vertical Non-Linear
- cek Adjustment V in
- Check the component values related to AC/DC feedback (usually there is an increased resistor value)
- Check the value of the parts in the ramp.generator section.
40. Vertical Folding
- Check the supply voltage VCC IC vertical out
- Check the connection and value of parts related to AC/DC feedback (generally the resistance value swells and stretches)
- check part value on ramp.generator
- IC Vertical out is damaged. Replace.
41. Image Vibrates (Shakes) Vertically When Volume is Increased
- This is related to the supply VCE sound amp linear voltage supply IC OSC. slightly swaying up and down when the IC sound amp. draws a large current.
- check the circuit in the power supply section of the OSC IC. which is related to the sound amp IC. generally caused by a leaking diode.
- Check the filter elco for the supply voltage of the oscillator IC.
42. There is a horizontal white line in the middle of the screen.
- Check the B+ voltage adjustment to see if it is in accordance with the datasheet, maybe the voltage is slightly over.
- Check the ramp generator parts
- ganti IC OSC.
43. Raster There Are Some White Blanking Lines At The Top Of The Raster
- If the circuit uses a 1 type power supply system, check the high voltage supply voltage,
- Check the low supply voltage, maybe it drops (there is a dry filter elco)
- ganti IC vertical out
- For TVs whose vertical output has a 2 input system / uses I2 (bus) technology, check the vertical center adjustment.
44. Vertical Lines Appear Slanted
- If this happens to a regular TV, it is caused by the deflection yoke being in an incorrect position. Turn the deflection yoke slightly.
- If this happens to a wide-screen TV, this is caused by differences in the earth's magnetic field at the production site and where the TV is used.
- on certain TVs sometimes behind the cover there is an EW switch to fix this defect, is there a switch? so, if there is, then adjust the deflection yoke.
- On big screen TVs equipped with "automatic NS corrector", this defect can be corrected automatically.

- DEDI SETIAWAN Sep 7, 2018, 15:24:00 = Great explanation, bro... even though there are many things I don't understand... Of course, I want to learn how to service the TV myself... It's completely dead but the indicator light is on...
And here is our response at that time:
- you're welcome bro,

- Hi boss BUDI ARDI, no boss, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter if it's installed upside down, as long as it doesn't get hit, boss. It's different if the LED TV includes a Hard Disc, then that's what shouldn't be turned upside down.
- Okay, you're welcome, bro.
- Hello Anonymous, thank goodness for that..

- Hello ALQ Syaina, I'm glad this article is useful. You're welcome.
- Hello Robby SP
- Ooo, if this is easy, there are 2 possibilities that can happen: 1. the power fuse is broken 2. the transistor on the power switching is open, this happens because the source voltage is breakdown, this safety concept is called the safe operating area (SOA) which is most often applied to power circuits. I often find cases like this in Playstation power circuits, so the way to overcome it is to empty the voltage on the Elco by connecting the (+) leg to GND, of course use a resistor so that there is no spark.
- Amen, my dear
- Okay, Mr. Sugiarto W, you're welcome.
- Hii Eddy G. Blank Monitor with plain white color on the screen with a little rainbow below. This damage is caused by cracked vertical IC solder. And damage like this does not only occur on Samsung S-series monitors, but also on other brands of monitors this case also occurs a lot.
- Hii Varit A. "TV is off, indicator light is flashing" For this damage, usually the power supply regulator works but the B+ voltage goes up and down. damage can be caused by a broken horizontal TR, damaged / short-circuited FBT, damaged vertical IC and to find out the damage, a special check needs to be carried out.
- Hi Susi S. If the color sometimes disappears, check if there is a VC (Variable Capacitor) near the 4.43361875MHz Crystal? If there is, try setting it. If not, try re-soldering or replacing the Crystal.
- Hii Rifqy N, for ease in using the guide above, please use CTRL+F to search with the topic "line", for the rest, please select based on the case you are experiencing, thank you and good luck
- Hi Robby, Oh, that's easy, usually the component that works best to anticipate this kind of thing is the fuse, please check the fuse in the power supply, bro... usually it's broken, please replace it... good luck
- Possible integrator circuit (VER osc), leaking ceramic capacitor
- Hello Beibh NN In your case, please do the following test: 1. When the TV is turned on and the TV indicator is on Standby, press the channel changer button on the TV, if the TV is on, then the TV condition is Normal. 2. Check your remote, how to use your cellphone camera to see the reaction on the remote sensor, press any button on the remote, then if the sensor is on (blinking) the remote condition is normal, but if the opposite (meaning there is a possibility that the remote battery is dead or the remote is damaged. 3. If the remote condition is normal but the TV does not respond, then there is a possibility of damage to the sensor on your TV, then please do further checks. Thank you
- It could be, because most of the elcos used in the image amplifier block are used as couplings (filters). In addition, to ensure that the conductors work properly, resolder the active component areas and those that have the potential to generate heat, such as ICs or diodes.
- Check starting from the cable, bro: 1. Is the AC jack end on your TV power cable short-circuited? If so, there is a possibility that your cable is damaged, either crushed by a solid object or there is a part that is burned to the point of tearing the insulator between GND and PHASE 2. To make sure, unsolder the Power cable from the TV Board (PCB), if it turns out that the cable is not short-circuited, then the power cable is normal. 3. If the power cable is normal, then what we need to suspect is the Power Supply Block Diagram, on average, power supply damage is in the Diode, IC Reg, or Elco, to make sure please do further checks. Thank you,
- When the TV is plugged in, is it accompanied by other electronic devices that are also being used? such as lights, refrigerators, etc., If so, then most likely your Household Power needs need to be Upgraded. More info about power changes is here: http://www.pln.co.id/pbpd/PD.php
- SANYO DYNAMIC TV model CG25ST5, Chroma IC OXXAVB241-M, MICOM IC M37221M8-115SP with damage to the image accompanied by distorted sound. Check the 12 volt voltage elco no pcb c655 value 470uF / 16c (replace with a new one).
- Hi Taufiq, please use CTRL+F to search and select the repair steps in this post, good luck, thank you.
- Symptoms of indicator on but TV off, please check this section: ->Regulator ->HOR circuit ->limiting diode
- Symptoms of the TV turning on and then turning off again, there is a possibility that the power supply for B+ transformer HOR oscillator or transformer that supplies the base voltage of the HOR Transistor is weak. Replace the 10uf63V or 47uf63V elco with a larger elco, for example 47uf160V
- With symptoms like that, there are several possibilities, including: ->There is a lack of contact between the solder on the high voltage transformer ->Damage to the Inverter driver IC itself
- With such symptoms, there are 2 possibilities: 1. The sound is normal, but there is no picture/just dark, -> the Backlight section (balancer, CCFL/LED) is probably damaged. 2. The sound is normal, but the screen is plain/white. -> the panel/Logic control or mainboard is probably damaged.
- With symptoms like that, there are 2 possibilities: 1. FOCUS VOLTAGE DOES NOT OUT -> caused by the VR driver resistor or rectifier diode in the HVT being damaged, the image is dark 2. AFT PULSE COIL IS OPEN -> causes the raster to be dark.
- Please check this section >> -> Non-genuine HOT transistor -> Over Drive for HOT transistor, check the HOR drive parts
- Symptoms of an incomplete image: ->check the B+ supply voltage ->if using a B+ boost up circuit, check the elco, then the boost up voltage ->big screen TV, adjust the cushion pin, if it doesn't work, check the cushion pin circuit. ->check the resonance capacitor in the HOR out amp section. try installing an additional parallel capacitor on the resonance capacitor in the HOR OUT AMP section, try whether it is around 1000pf or if it is not full 2000pf, and so on until full ->if the HOR oscillator uses an internal resonator, check or replace the x-tal with a value of 443 and its series capacitor. ->OSC IC is damaged.
- Such symptoms can be said to be intermittent, meaning sometimes normal sometimes not, and in my opinion the loud noise causes vibration and the vibration can affect components or parts that are corroded or porous. Because it results in total death, my suggestion is to first check all the circuit blocks that are directly connected to the power supply output, and finally the power supply, it may need resoldering.
- Damage like this can be caused by a drastic voltage increase/decrease (PLN blackout). Please check this section, sir: -> Regulator -> HOR circuit -> Limiting diode -> Vertical protector such as Q501 If you need a SHARP TV service manual, please download it here: SERVICE BOOK MANUAL
- Hii YUNI KURNIYA. That's because the antenna is less able to capture the frequency transmitted by the Indosiar TV station, because each TV station has BTS in several areas/regions, so I think there are 2 possibilities: 1. Your area is far from the Indosiar BTS 2. Your TV antenna cannot capture the Indosiar frequency properly My suggestion, use an automatic antenna that can autonomously rotate 360 * to scan the frequency when our TV is setting the channel search.
- Color disturbance: Check the color demodulation circuit, color demodulation amplifier
- Check Vertical Circuit Block: if the frequency is less than 50Hz, then the Gb will run up. Conversely, if the frequency is more than 50Hz, the image will run down. The image symptoms have been shown in the post above.
- If the picture is good, it means the signal has been demodulated well, it's just that there is something wrong with the audio amplifier after being separated through the demodulation process, please check the following section. Sound interference: IF audio circuit, Video detector, HF circuit
- Please check the tuner, most likely the damage is in the tuner.
- Most likely it needs resoldering, bro. Usually there are many paths that are corroded or brittle, and that causes the conductance to become intermittent. Just try re-soldering, bro, on the parts that might need it. That's it, thank you.
- It is possible that the rectifier diode in the HVT is damaged, which can cause the raster to "bloom".
- If the picture is good, it means the signal has been demodulated well, it's just that there is something wrong with the audio amplifier after being separated through the demodulation process, please check the following section. Sound interference: IF audio circuit, Video detector, HF circuit

- TV is off, indicator is on: Check the Regulator, HOR circuit, limiting diode. If there is sound but no picture: Check the Fly back transformer, CRT cathode, video amplifier
- Possible damage: ->short one of the rgb tube pins with g1 ->rgb tube block pcb component ->abl section, 180v, rgb Check the voltage on the R and G tube pins = 200v, on pin B = 40v (because of the blue blanking, usually the trouble is on pin B) Remove the rgb block pcb, turn on the machine, pin B = 40v, meaning that one of the components in the Blue rgb block is damaged This RGB transistor is still normal when checked with an avo, but if installed it still gives an error, because the damage is in the working voltage characteristics or exceeds the manufacturer's tolerance limit, so my suggestion is to replace it with a new one.
- Replace the Crystal component in the RGB Amplifier Block, because the parameter of the component is frequency, so it cannot be checked with a multitester. So just replace it, and see the reaction. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds, thank you, Mr. BURHAYA AYA, please do it with pleasure
- Hello 19COMPANY, before asking questions, please be willing to read, examine, and listen first, whether the content of the question is really not yet available. Because frankly the answer to your question is actually quite widely available on this page, both in Posts, or in the comments of other visitors. Thank you for your attention and cooperation
- Use the troubleshooting steps titled "YOKE DEFLECTION EFFECTS IF NOT ORIGINAL" use CTRL+F to do a quick search. thank you

- Like the symptoms of Shrinkage in the above & below images. Identical to the characteristics of dry elco symptoms. Try to pay attention to the VER deflection circuit and VER deflection coil. And don't forget to always observe elco with high capacity and voltage whether there are any abnormalities such as dryness or lack of electrolyte fluid.

- Okay, you're welcome, bro.
- In general, components that are easily damaged are flyback transformers, horizontal transistors and capacitors. For a more complete explanation of this, please see HERE.
- It looks like there's a magnet near there, bro.
- No boss
- It is possible that the female audio jack (host) is shorted to ground, maybe it is damaged due to the effects of prying. So the point is, just replace the female audio jack / host / hole, buy it at an electronics store, they must have it. Or if you don't have the tools, you can just leave it to a TV technician, at least it will be fixed for around 50 thousand rupiah
- Like symptoms of worn components or corrosive solder, just check and trace the sensor and control block section towards the microprocessor. Observe areas that are potentially exposed to high heat. If there is, please resolder or replace the worn components.
