You may have noticed that unlike Eclipse ADT Android Studio does not have an Assets folder which we usually use to store our web files like HTML. The assets folder is stored under the main folder: main/assets:
Here we will learn how to create a raw assets folder in Android Studio.
Step 1: Open your android studio. Navigate to the Android option.

Step 2: You will find the application folder and Gradle Scripts. Right click on the application folder click New > Folder > Assets Folder.

Step 3: Android Studio will open a dialog box. Leave all the settings as default. Under the specified target source, the main option should be selected. and click finish.

Step 4: Now open the application folder. You will find your Assets folder named “assets”.
Done, good luck!
